JORDAN HIRSHON

Jordan has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in biology. She is currently enrolled in a master’s program at Yeshiva University studying mental health counseling and will soon be a licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York state.
Jordan has been working towards becoming a neurotherapist under the supervision of Dr. Merlyn Hurd for 6 years. Prior to this, she saw Dr. Hurd for treatment of migraines and OCD. After receiving successful neurofeedback treatment, she was inspired to pursue a career in this field. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, she began learning from Dr. Hurd the ins-and-outs of QEEG; how to obtain and interpret QEEG brain maps, which neurofeedback instrument to choose based on someone’s QEEG, and how to create individual treatment plans and protocols. Jordan has a deep-rooted interest in working with children who struggle with inner peace.  Mental health is a right, and it is worth fighting for”. She has a great interest in the use of various tDCS/tACS/tRNS/pEMF protocols in conjunction with 19-channel training to help those seeking neurofeedback treatment.
When not working, Jordan enjoys spending time outside. Skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. She can often be found at the gym, with friends, and reading about new ways to innovate various neurotherapies.
